This exhibition, taking place in New York and Hong Kong, features an exceptional selection of approximately 60 distinct works from eight masters of the Dansaekhwa and Korean modern abstract art movement. It showcases the core characteristics, concepts and unique aesthetics of Korean abstract art under the theme of “Forming Nature”. For Korean abstract painters, creating art is to form nature in their own minds, aiming to return to nature and ultimately to become one with nature.
